HOW TO USE PROPAGATION STATIONS

Magnetic Propagation Station Pointers

  • Refrigerators and sliding glass doors are a great place for magnetic propagation stations, but protect your plant babies! We recommend placing prop stations on the side, or up and out of reach of kids and pets.
  • Place propagation stations in desired location with bright indirect lighting.
  • Apply the suction cup to a clean, dry surface. Use the pull tab to release.
  • Use a propagation station as a vase for a beautiful flower.
  • Enjoy!

Water Propagation Tips

  • Use clean shears or a knife and trim your plant below a node.
  • Leave two or more leaves above your cutting spot.
  • Let your cuttings callous overnight to help prevent root rot.
  • Keep the water level above the node.
  • A pothos cutting can be added to other cuttings! Pothos have a rooting hormone that can help props that are slow to root.
  • Try using moss, perlite, stratum, pon or other mediums inside the large floating gardens.
  • Plants can be propagated all year long, but they do especially well in the growing season.
  • Be patient – it could take from days to months for roots to grow!

HOW TO USE CHUNKY POTTING MIX

CHUNKY Potting Mix

Great for all your aroids such as pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, and other common houseplants. The ingredients aid in adding nutrients, capturing carbon, improving drainage, increasing air circulation, flushing toxins, and nourishing plant roots.

Contains:

  • Horticultural charcoal
  • Worm castings
  • Orchid bark
  • Potting soil
  • Coco coir
  • Perlite
  • LECA

Small magnets can pose a serious choking hazard. Keep magnets away from small children.
